Mobile Mental Health Unit for Adults in Imathia “eMotion"
The Mobile Mental Health Unit for Adults in Imathia “eMotion", run by the Society of Neurosciences and Rehabilitation (S.N.R.), officially began its operations in April 2023, after the official issuing of:
• An official Establishment License (No. Γ3β/Γ.Π. οικ 72675/16-12-2022 - Online Publication Number: P6N2465FYO-0NΨ) by the Ministry of Health.
• An official Operations License (No. Γ3β/Γ.Π.7211/7-2-2024 - Online Publication Number: 6IFY465FYO-YIN) by the Ministry of Health.
It provides prevention, diagnostic assessment, home care and treatment, and psychosocial rehabilitation and reintegration services.
Services - Actions
of the Mobile Adult Mental Health Unit Prevention are provided FREE OF CHARGE and include:
- 1. - 2. Diagnosis: The patient's condition is assessed, and treatment is organized by the scientific team.

- 4. Social work with the individual's environment.

The unit is aimed at:
- Adults with mental disorders and/or psychosocial problems
- Families of sufferers, implementing psychoeducation programs
- Groups at high risk of developing mental illness
Based on the principles of Community Psychiatry, it aims to:
- Addressing mental illness within the community in which each patient lives, drawing on the strengths and understanding of the people who make up that community
- Defending their individual and social rights and protecting them from negative discrimination and behaviors such as social stigmatization, exploitation, abuse, and neglect
- Educating the community with the aim of informing and raising awareness on issues of social reintegration and the dismantling of social stigma.
